Schools Offer Look at Reopening Plans

With the start of the 2020-21 school year set to begin in late August and early September, one thing that seems to be common is students will be wearing masks, using hand sanitizers and having their temperatures checked daily. Newton Falls Interim Superintendent Rocco Adduci said the district already has spent $209,000 for items needed to start the school year, $22,400 for thermal temperature scanning cameras; $20,000 for Clorox 360 sanitizing machines; and $89,000 for teacher and staff training for online learning instruction.
