NYSUT President Wants the Governor to Make a Decision on Schools Reopening

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has yet to make an announcement about elementary, middle, and high school students heading back to school in the fall. However, many feel the governor should make the announcement as soon as possible. “Number one, they want to make sure schools are clean and safe, so they’ve been sanitized,” said Pallotta. “We were in one school district in Ilion and what they had there was a new machine a Clorox 360, and they were able to spray this mist into say public rooms, bathrooms, cafeterias, classrooms.”
