Restrooms are frequently visited throughout the day, filled with germs and persistent challenges such as urine stains, odors, visibly dirty surfaces, and mold. When people use restrooms, they want them to be clean and fresh and tend to avoid facilities that don’t maintain restroom cleanliness. Although there is a need for well-kept restrooms, they are often cited as the most challenging space to clean and disinfect.
Workspaces are filled with many different surfaces that are touched by multiple people throughout the day. Eating areas are prone to grease & grime and, if not properly cleaned, can lead to bigger issues like germ growth or damage to equipment. Grease & grime can also pose a fall hazard to building occupants and cleaning staff since it makes surfaces slippery. Although there is a need to remove grease & grime, eating areas are prone to slip-ups and buildups.
